I want to know if I have a legitimate reason to file a complaint against a lawyer who prosecuted a family member's murder case. The lawyer, who is a high school friend of my husband, engaged in inappropriate Facebook messenger flirtations and allegedly propositioned my husband for sex. These interactions have caused me significant distress, triggering PTSD flashbacks. My family is concerned that pursuing this matter could jeopardize the upcoming appeal. I do not have physical proof of these conversations as they were deleted. What are my legal grounds for filing a complaint, and could it affect the appeal process?
