I'm in a fraternity. My president searched my drawers without my presence and found a small amount of marijuana. They are asking me to leave immediately and sign a disclosure that they will not report me. Should I sign? Was this legal? Can they turn me in to campus police?

My wife and I run a Christian Non-Profit ministry focused on combating child abuse. We recently took custody of her niece and nephew after reporting substantiated abuse. We want to start a Go Fund Me page to raise money for a new mode of transportation to raise awareness of child abuse, but my wife is concerned that doing so might trigger backlash from the children's legal counsel, who have insinuated that we created the non-profit to exploit the children. How can we proceed with our mission without exploiting the children or creating legal issues for the Non-Profit?

I received a notice of termination on 3/11/2016 and moved out on 3/27/2016. The landlord terminated my tenancy because I opened the windows at night, which they had asked me not to do after living there for 6 months. I paid rent through an automatic bank account and was not behind on rent. Should I be refunded for the remaining four days of March, and can I get my security deposit back, which they deducted $200 for professional cleaning and the value of broken kitchen items, returning only $171 of the $500 deposit?

If a former employee (4 years ago) continues to write a nasty (untrue) blog about me, paint nude art of me and post it on the Internet, and has now mailed (USPS) a letter to my place of employment addressed to each of my employees telling them I am all sorts of bad things...is it harassment? Illegal? Libel? Can I call the police or should I call a lawyer?

What is a summons and is it the same as small claims court? I received a summons from a CT lawyer suing me for $15K. I had a tenant who trashed the house, and I used the security deposit for repairs after sending her a summary. This was 18 months ago. Do I need to get an attorney, and what should I do after sending the summons back?
