I was advised by my real estate agent to proceed with a short sale, promising it could last for 2 years, but now she is ready to close the deal in less than 5 months. She filed three claims in small claims court totaling approximately $17k for commission fees. The bank has not accepted any offers, and I have not signed anything with the bank regarding the short sale. Does she have grounds for her lawsuit, and what should I do?

I have a housemate in Colorado with whom I no longer get along. She has 6 months left on our written agreement, which provides her with free room and board and household privileges in exchange for helping around the house and buying all groceries. The house is mine, and no money exchanges hands. If I were to tell her to move out before the agreement expires in June, would there be any legal ramifications?

I am working under a grant at a Mental Health center in Iowa as a trained peer support specialist. I have been told by my boss that peers in the wellness center feel uncomfortable around me and that I should not clean the center. This has triggered my mental health symptoms and I am considering quitting my job. I need to know if I would be eligible for unemployment benefits if I quit immediately, and if there are grounds for a lawsuit due to unfair treatment.
