I was denied the purchase of a weapon because the gun store found that I was arrested in Georgia in 2000. I don't remember the charge and am unsure if there was a felony conviction or if I'm on active parole or probation. I had a DUI in 2008 in Tennessee. I saw a psychotherapist for ten years due to an abusive and traumatic childhood. After terminating therapy, I discovered she published a 'fictional' novel containing scenarios from my personal history. While she didn't use my name, I'm disturbed that she used my trauma for her own gain. Do I have any private legal recourse or any recourse at all?
