I was divorced many years ago and was supposed to receive half of all assets, including half of my ex-husband's military retirement, according to our divorce papers. However, he disappeared and I never received any money. I recently learned of his death and that he sold our home and had other assets. Am I still entitled to my share of the assets, and what steps should I take to claim my share, including my portion of his military retirement benefits?
