I have prescriptions for knee surgeries but didn't have them with me. Can I use my prescriptions as a defense for the OVI charge, and could this affect my RN license?

I live in Alabama and have been on probation for about 2 years. I was scheduled to be released on April 23 of this year, but I received a letter from my probation officer stating that I am on probation for 3 more years because I haven't paid any fines since July 2009. I have financial difficulties and pay my probation officer every month. I have done everything the judge asked, such as getting my GED and working two jobs, but my primary job is not guaranteed and my second job only provides 25 hours a week, possibly less. I have been on unsupervised probation for about a year and was not informed that my probation could be extended if restitution was not paid in full. How can they extend my probation, and how can I resolve this situation?

My wife and I have been separated for a year due to her infidelity. We have two children. She left my home voluntarily and went to live with a male friend. They have been living together for one year. In the state of Texas, I would assume that they are common law married. I am in the process of consulting a lawyer to initiate the divorce process. Is she violating state law by not being legally divorced and living with another person for a year? Please advise.

The doctor wanted to perform the surgery before leaving the country, but her blood pressure and blood sugar levels dropped dangerously low multiple times, making the procedure unsafe. After stabilizing her, the doctor performed the surgery and left the country, stating she would be fine and could be discharged in 48 hours. During her hospital stay, her blood pressure and blood sugar levels continued to fluctuate. What should be done in this situation?

I received a call at my job from a gentleman speaking very little English who stated that I will be served with a lawsuit regarding a payday loan through Instant Cash Network. He couldn't provide information about the company but has my work number and info. He stated that I will be served and that there is nothing I can do. Is this a scam? What should I do?
