I was laid off by my employer in October 2019. The employer is not paying my bonus for the year 2019, claiming they assess bonus payouts at the end of the year. I reside in NY while the employer is based in NJ. Additionally, they are not matching my 401K contribution as per my offer letter, and they fired me (a US citizen) with the reason 'lack of work' while continuing to employ other employees (on H1B visas) with the same skills. What are my rights and options in this situation?
