I was recently sued on 6/25/22 for copyright infringement as the owner of Moe's BBQ CULLMAN, LLC, even though I sold my interest in the company in June 2019 and was only a silent partner since 2016. The lawsuit names me as an officer responsible for the operation and management of the LLC, despite not having any operational control. I never received any communication from the plaintiffs regarding obligations or cease and desist notices. The lawsuit has tarnished my reputation and affected my current business funding. What can I do about this, and do I have a case against the plaintiffs for making false claims and defamation of character?

My aunt lives in Florida and is a homeowner. Her husband died, and their nephew made a will at the time of his death, stating he has ownership of all my aunt's property. The will does not address her competency or how cash and property should be divided. She is complaining that the nephew is not giving her any money, and she has lost her spouse's monthly income.
