I was sued by the state of MS, they received a summary judgment from a judge, the amount is $238,000.00 + interest. I had loaned the money to a small struggling insurance company, I became president, I repaid my loan & resigned 5 years later when I saw that the Ins. Dept. intended to close the company down. They had used unethical, deceptive methods. How can I sue, or counter sue, to protect myself from the judgment, & for my losses of five years + expenses while struggling to operate the company?

If a summary judgment has been awarded against you, your primary recourse is to appeal the judgment....
