I was suspended from my job because they said I fall into a loophole that requires me to test clean for THC since I drive to customers' homes. My position is a sales position, and I make minor adjustments to windows/sliding doors when necessary. The state does not require me to pass a drug test, but it's a corporate policy. They offered me an office position until I can test again without THC in my system. Am I protected by the law, and how should I proceed?

My boyfriend had court last Wednesday for receiving stolen property and taking a vehicle without the owner's permission. On the way to court, he was arrested for possession and taken into custody before he could make it to court. Will the judge understand that he couldn't make it to court due to being in custody, and if he goes to court today, will the judge place him back in custody considering the situation?
