I would like to request support for an incident that happened unknowingly. Can I explain the full scenario to you? I just found out that it was illegal, however, it wasn't intended for it to be like that. The situation went like this: we created a company's Slack account for business purposes. In general channels, we discussed business-related topics. However, in private messaging, me and my colleague were flirting and sharing adult images and videos. We both are around 22-21 years old, so I shared images I found from an adult website with her. Few days ago, I came across a picture of an underage girl (naked) and I shared that with her in the private channel in Slack with the intention of discussing how cruel the world is and how this picture and the incident might have affected the thought process of that girl and how it might hinder her life. We in no way were encouraging such activity. However, this morning I got an email from Slack notifying me that our workspace has been deleted due to sharing content containing child sexual exploitation. I immediately replied to clarify our intentions. How can we protect ourselves as we were not aware that such images can't be shared? We both are young people and we both aren't someone who are involved in such criminal activity. It was an image I found online which I shared with an intention of showing her that how incidents like this might have affected many underage people. As for the other images which don't fall in the underage category, which I also found on the adult website were just for flirting. So I would like to request advice on what we should do regarding this matter. We both are residents and citizens of Nepal.
