If a patient was diagnosed with a medical condition 15 years ago and was properly diagnosed using correct measures, but a recent specialist disputes the diagnosis without using proper measures, does the patient have the right to sue? Additionally, can the patient sue their primary doctor for failing to provide proper care, especially in terms of pain medication, despite the patient having Addison's disease, Crohn's disease, major back pain, and other conditions, and being on Medicare and receiving Social Security Disability benefits?

A company contacted me with a contract and an employment offer after finding my resume on Monster.com. Without my knowledge, they opened a checking account in my name and another person's name. I withdrew money from this account, believing it was legitimate, and used it to purchase goods. I later discovered this was a scam involving someone else's identity, and now I'm facing legal trouble. What can I do?

My husband was just served papers for back child support for an 18-year-old child in California, despite no paternity test ever being done. He signed the birth certificate and was present at the birth, but the mother later claimed he wasn't the father and denied him visitation. He never received any court notices until recently. What should we do?

My ex-wife will not sign an insurance check for a loss that occurred while we were married, even though I received the property in the divorce decree. The divorce decree does not mention the insurance payments for the damage to the property during the marriage. How can I compel her to sign the check?

My spouse received a judgment against her from a credit card company for $10,000. She received a "Notice of Rights to have exemptions designated". She owns a rental house valued at $70,000 with a $20,000 line of credit. The house was owned before we were married, but I think under NC law I am also part owner. Can this house be counted towards the $35,000 exemption since it is a rental property and not her primary residence? If it can, would it increase to $70,000 since we are married? Lastly, can the attorney for the credit card company force the sale of it or just put a levy on it?
