Our Bylaws state an account is delinquent after 10 days. The board wants to remove a candidate from our ballot that paid dues 4 days late but is current. The wording in the Statute says if 'delinquent' may not be listed on the ballot. This is an existing board member who has kept our board on track with many matters. What should be considered in this situation?

My previous probate attorney has possession of my Living Trust binder and other personal documents. After terminating him in May 2023, I made arrangements to retrieve my items, but he did not respond to my calls or messages. I sent a 30-day notice via registered mail in January 2024, and my current estate lawyer suggested writing a demand letter. What if he destroyed my Living Trust binder and other legal documents? Is he legally obligated to contact me and ask what I would like him to do with my personal items prior to destruction?

I received a call from a law firm regarding a credit card debt from 3/31/04. They threatened legal action and I made a payment and set up a payment plan. The debt was bought by another company in 2018. Can they still take me to court after so long, and what should I do since I made a payment?
