If I let a 1099 cleaning person come back to work with an illness that is being treated, but the doctor has released her to come back to work without any restrictions, will I or my business be held liable if this illness causes her to cause an accident or injury to herself or others, will my business and myself be free of any liability that this could or may cause? The doctor has fully released her to come back to work even though this illness can come and go at random. I own a cleaning business.

I'm trying to get my $3000.00 deposit back from my landlord. I moved out of the apartment at the end of May, 2010. The landlord said I would get it back in 2 weeks, but I still haven't received it and I need it. He always has an excuse. Please help me.

Workers' comp is paying my bills, but the hospital will not code all the bills submitted with the correct billing codes and instead puts them on my credit report. I don't have $26,000+ to pay these. What can I do?

I am having difficulty obtaining non-discriminatory subscription pricing from DirecTV or Dish Network due to my reluctance to commit to credit card autopay for a $10 per month discount on HD service. I have offered to pay full years' subscription costs in advance but was rejected. Is this discriminatory or illegal, and what are my legal options?
