As an architect, my client wants to reduce my fee during construction administration. They have refused to take responsibility for the construction documents and terminated the contract for construction administration (CA), but want me as a consultant to save money. I agreed to this on the condition that I won't be liable for errors and omissions if I don't do the full CA, but they won't sign that agreement. What legal steps can I take to address this situation?

I did something horrible at a gas station in Austin, Texas. I had severe stomach issues and, after being told the bathroom was out of order, I used an office instead, causing a mess. I left without cleaning up. Should I go back to the gas station and apologize and offer to pay for everything? How much legal trouble will I be in for running?

I received a summons to appear at the Fulton County Courthouse in Lewistown, Illinois on May 24th at 9:00 a.m. due to a debt with Central Illinois Loan Company. I live in Morgan County, Jacksonville, Illinois, and have no transportation. I want to know if offering to pay $160 a month to the loan company could remove the summons before the 24th, and how to request a continuance if needed.
