We have a service agreement with a company that services our entryway mats. We found a cheaper alternative and gave the current company 60 days notice to terminate the agreement. They have invoiced us for 50% of what they would have made for the remainder of the agreement, stating they are 'entitled' to it. The agreement was signed by someone unauthorized and is no longer with our company. Are we liable for the $12,000 they invoiced us for, or do we have legal options to vacate the agreement?
