I’m trying to purchase a car where someone else had already signed the title. They obtained an affirmation of correction and filled it out, but I want to ensure it’s legitimate before purchasing. The part I’m concerned about is supposed to be signed by the person who originally backed out, and I, as the new purchaser, would sign on line 3. Additionally, the seller part is filled out with the name of the company, while the back of the title says the purchaser is Tony Roman. Should I go to the DMV myself to have them approve it, or do I need the original person or seller to accompany me?

I want to buy a house in Texas at a tax auction. Can someone help me understand the priority of liens if a house is sold at a tax auction? Usually, when people do not pay their tax bill, they haven’t paid their mortgage. If you can direct me to a book to read as well.
