In a standard store lease, what does it mean when it says 'landlord shall furnish heat,' and can the landlord add a rider to the lease stating that the tenant would be solely responsible for the maintenance and replacement of the heating system?

How could they have done this to me and how can I get the conservator out of the way to get back the money I initially spent plus what the return would be? I lost money in a viatical purchase, and the SEC involvement has not provided a clear resolution. No attorney would help me before, and the SEC told me it would take a couple of years after these people were in jail to liquidate the assets, but now it has taken more years and I cannot get a straight answer from them. This is my whole life I am depending on, and the insurance agent knew that.

Our home was appraised for $1.3 million in 2007 and left to me and 4 siblings after our parents' death. I moved in with the understanding that proceeds from the eventual sale would be shared equally. The house was sold in 2009 for $830,000. Two sisters now want me to pay them the difference between the appraised value and the sale price. Can they still come after me for this, and do I need an agreement from all siblings about the disposition of the house, even if it was verbal?

I have a significant amount of child support arrearages and have worked out a repayment plan. I recently had my driver's license reinstated by a judge after paying $500 into arrearages, but my passport was not reinstated when I failed to mention it in court. I am currently not in default on my repayment plan and am 60 years old with medical issues that require regular doctor visits, but I have no insurance and am trying to get on Medicaid. My daughter is getting married and taking a cruise for her honeymoon, and I am not invited. I have the opportunity to go on the same cruise, which might help rekindle our relationship, but I need a passport to do so. Additionally, I will not be able to repay the arrearages in full except through the monthly payment, which will take a very long time. If I have to go back to court, what do I need to include in the Motion that would convince the judge to reinstate my passport?
