In an unlawful detainer case in California, I mistakenly filed a 'motion to dismiss' instead of a 'motion to strike'. The correct motion is not allowed after the response time has elapsed. Do I need to cancel the motion and file the correct one, and will this result in a default? Additionally, how should I handle serving documents without a court time stamp, and can I serve the attorney of record in a related restraining order case?
