I was arrested for Public Intoxication (PI), but a local newspaper published my mug shot with the title 'Delivery driver found to be DUI' and 'see DUI page 4'. Since I was charged with PI and not DUI, is this considered slander, and can I sue the newspaper for this?

I used my debit card to buy the camera for $1500 and intended to use the remaining money for the lens. However, I gave the remaining $1000 back to my employer after depositing the check. I want to borrow on a home that was signed over to me last month without any money changing hands. My mother signed it over to me, and now I want to get a consolidation loan on it. However, the lenders say I have to have it in my name for at least 6 months before they can proceed with the loan, even though the home is paid for outright.
