My 23-month-old son broke his leg and was given morphine at the hospital, which led to him stopping breathing. He was resuscitated, but we received little explanation from the hospital staff. We are not seeking legal action, but we want to understand why this happened and ensure it doesn't happen again. Should we meet with the hospital's senior management directly or through a legal representative?
