My 40-year-old stepson took my husband, who is 77, to a lawyer to get a will done behind my back. We have been married for 35 years, and I am 76. I feel humiliated, betrayed, and disgusted. The son wanted to ensure he would be left my husband's money. I am worried about being taken care of in my old age. Is there anything I can do?

I missed the due date for submitting my Statement of Issues and Contentions due to extreme bias from the judge and financial hardships, including being homeless for several weeks. I am hesitant to provide the complete reason for my lateness due to the judge's bias and the injustices I've faced. Should I mention my attorneys' faults and my lack of funds, or focus only on the attorneys' faults since I'm also trying to win custody? Is the Statement of Issues and Contentions my last chance to present evidence in court before a settlement conference and trial?

I stayed in a hotel and caught scabies, which I was diagnosed with at the ER the next morning. I want to sue, but I can't find a lawyer. Where are you located? These laws vary by state. I live in Santa Cruz, CA, but this happened in Roseburg, OR. How can I determine if I have a case and what steps should I take?

I need to talk to someone about where FedEx leaves my packages. They leave them in the street, even though my house is 400 ft. off the street and my driveway is clear for trucks to drive to my house. I am having two expensive office chairs delivered tomorrow, and my husband and I, as senior citizens, cannot carry them from the street. What steps can I take to ensure delivery to my house?
