She also refuses to take her medications. What steps do I need to take to place her in a nursing home to prevent harm to her or others?

I live in a POA community in SC where the POA has changed the mailbox style and size, requiring everyone to purchase new mailboxes from them by a certain date or face fines. The original mailboxes were also purchased from the POA. The new mailboxes were unpopular, so the POA amended the governance to require the new smaller mailboxes. This seems unfair as other changes were grandfathered in. Do we have any legal recourse?

I was caught shoplifting at Nordstroms today (2 items totaling $160.00) in Miami, FL. I was detained by LP, signed the Nordstrom Admonishment Agreement, and the merchandise was recovered undamaged. I have no criminal record and have never been sued civilly. I know a Notice of Civil Demand is likely, and most attorneys advise ignoring it. However, I was given a number to call to discuss civil restitution. Should I call this number, and could it potentially make the situation worse?
