My business prepaid a supplier over $10k for orders in 2011 and 2012, but only a small portion of the orders has been delivered. I own a horse that was raised in Kentucky and had a UCC filed against it while it was there. I shipped the horse to California. Can the UCC still carry its priority lien even though the horse isn't in Kentucky anymore? I have a judgment in California that says the liens are in Kentucky and aren't good in California. How can that be? Do you have to file new UCCs every time the horse moves to a different state?

I was served a summons to appear at a contempt motion in Harris County, TX, filed pro se. This case was moved to the 418th District Court in Montgomery County nearly 5 years ago. Additionally, the other party has appealed the agreed divorce, and that appeal is still pending. Is this not just a slam dunk quash for lack of jurisdiction?
