My car was towed from a private company lot of a bank in Minnesota, where I was parked in a spot marked for 5 minutes ATM use. The bank was closed, and the lot was full with other cars also violating the policy. I was charged a $280 tow fee. Do I have any grounds to fight this fee?

In our subdivision, the Board of Directors requires that proxies for voting must be notarized, which most members dispute. The bylaws were changed a few years ago with the intention to eliminate this requirement, but a Board Member who is a lawyer insists that proxies still need to be notarized. Can you review the voting section of our bylaws and clarify whether proxies need to be notarized based on the current version and the intent of the 2018 bylaw change?

I am a US citizen residing in the UAE who has faced threats from the Iranian government demanding money, leading to a series of escalating issues including threats, property freezing, and pressure to renounce US citizenship. I was recently accused of mishandling club funds and transferring money into my personal account by the board of a non-profit dog training club where I served as registrar for 10 years. The accusations were made without any factual basis, and the treasurer confirmed no money was missing. The president sent a message to the board advising me of these accusations and that they would not reinstate me due to them. My medical and legal history was also disclosed at the meeting. Would this be considered slander or defamation since it was sent to multiple people and I was blocked from a position because of it without there being an actual factual basis? If so, is it worth pursuing legally?
