My company, an S-corporation, took out Merchant Cash Advances against future receivables, but due to business hardship, we can't continue payments. One lender is threatening criminal prosecution and contacting my family. The contract states I wouldn't take out advances with other companies, which I did. They claim this is financial fraud. They also say they can contact my friends and family and that I'm a personal guarantor on the repayment. Can they pursue criminal charges, contact my family, and come after me personally despite my company being a corporation?

I moved to a new city and found a roommate on Craigslist who asked for a $500 rent fee. I agreed and signed as an add-on roommate. My roommate disappeared, leaving me under the lease. The apartment complex is demanding the entire rent ($3,000) or eviction. They offered me a studio at $1,320 with a deposit and security fee, which I can't afford. I need legal help immediately.

I was involved in two car accidents within two weeks. In the first accident, my husband was at fault and I have $10,000 in medical coverage. In the second accident, the other driver was at fault, and I have $100,000 in uninsured motorist coverage and $10,000 in medical coverage. I received the maximum $15,000 from the at-fault driver's insurance (USAA) for the second accident. USAA now offers a settlement of $15,000 from the at-fault driver, $31,000 to cover my medical lien, and $55,000 to me, totaling $101,000. My medical lien is $31,000. Can I offset the first accident's $10,000 medical coverage towards the $31,000 medical lien? Should I accept the $55,000 settlement or is there potential to recover more, considering my $100,000 uninsured motorist coverage?

Can I have my immediate POA request sending my medical records from a non-medical doctor to another medical provider prior to an appointment? Also, is it a privacy violation if a patient discloses concerns about a medical staff member being under the influence and the doctor discloses the patient's identity to the staff member or contractor?

I was convicted of vehicular manslaughter in 1990 in Michigan and have since moved to Ohio. Despite completing my sentence and not having any further legal issues, I am consistently denied employment due to my criminal record. I was recently dismissed from a job at Kroger in Findlay, OH, after a background check revealed my conviction. I am seeking to understand if I am being legally discriminated against and if there are any legal options available to me to address this ongoing issue.
