My daughter is an alcoholic and a bulimic. Her primary care physician (PCP) gave her an SSRI that set off mania, and now she is diagnosed as bipolar. Can I talk with her MD without asking questions? I am the insurance primary.

I purchased a housing development lot for $150k in 2005, but it's now worth about $20k. I have a $90k loan with Assetts Recovery LLC, and they offered me the option to settle the mortgage by writing a letter stating what I can pay. If I offer them $22k to pay off the mortgage, will I own the property free and clear, and how can I be sure this is true?

Over the past 2 years, my bookkeeper paid her own credit card bills from my account using wire transfers. Is this embezzlement and what are the consequences? Is it up to me to file charges or does the bank have a responsibility to report the misuse? If I make an arrangement with the bookkeeper to repay me and she defaults, have I lost the ability to report this? Is there a statute of limitations on this?

I filed a Notice of Service of Rule 26(a)(1) Disclosures upon the opposing party with the federal court. The clerk would not file the Notice and replaced it with Rule 5. I was under the belief that a Notice of Service should be filed with the court. Am I mistaken?
