My ex and I have an auto loan together for the next four years. I've tried to remove my name from the lien, but the loan company said it's not possible. We both paid half of the monthly payments until February 2016. The insurance is in my name, and I had to sign a document stating she's not allowed to drive the vehicle due to her suspended license. She agreed to keep the vehicle parked until she gets her license back, but she hasn't made any attempts to resolve her license suspension. I have evidence she's been driving the vehicle illegally. I'm tempted to remove the insurance, but that would result in the vehicle being repossessed, affecting my credit. She's also been late with auto payments, and I've had to cover for her. What can I do in this situation?

My building was sold and is being converted for new use. The new owners are not remodeling within ADA codes, and I am a disabled tenant who needs to stay. Do I need to file a complaint with HUD, or can I seek representation for an ADA violation that will allow a suit?

A healthcare facility billed Medicare for a service provided to my father while he was at their facility. Medicare denied payment, stating that there was no liability of my father's for the service and also stated that my father should not be billed for this service. Can the facility seek payment from my father?

I own a home in MN and rent a room to a long-time friend. She has become hostile and erratic, making the environment emotionally toxic. I need her to move out by July 1, but she is in no hurry. I am not a 'landlord' in the pure sense, as our agreement has been oral since March 2014. How can I legally and effectively ask her to leave, and what steps should I take to protect myself from potential claims under the ADA?

I was a W-2 employee and a startup founder who was terminated by the CEO. My severance package includes 1 month of severance and 1 year vesting of my equity. The reason for termination was 'it wasn't anything specific, it's just personal' and came without any warning. Do I have any legal rights, and should I accept this severance package or fight for more?

I am considering starting a franchise with yourcannibisbiz where I would invest money and promote a website in my state, receiving 25% of all sales. The business would operate in a legal state. What are the chances of getting arrested, the business being closed, and all money being taken?
