My friend was in a lease for a fully furnished house in Washington state. The contract ended on August 18th, and she moved out on that day. The landlord is trying to charge her for damages, extra rent for occupants, and a pet fee, even though the lease does not mention these charges. The landlord also did not complete a pre-inspection form and is now trying to make additional charges after the final walk-through.
