I live in an HOA with attached units where dues are higher than for detached homes. The HOA is responsible for attached roofs, but now they claim there's no money and are imposing a $4,000 special assessment on attached units. Dues have been paid for 19 years with no action, and the dues have increased by $300 per year. They threatened foreclosure on 88 attached units. What can I do?

I want to find an attorney to sue a dialysis company that has caused issues with my Social Security benefits. The VA falsely charged me a copay for dialysis, which they shouldn't have, and now the IRS is taking out $350.00 per month from my Social Security. What steps should I take to address this issue?

My wife and I are being harassed by SSI. I have been drawing benefits for 19 years and my new wife, who is 72 years old, for an unspecified length of time. They have frozen my payment and are causing us problems. We are both in California. What steps should we take, and what additional information should the lawyer know?
