I was convicted of PC 243(B) battery on a peace officer/emergency personnel/etc. in 2008, which was later expunged. The DOJ sent me a letter denying my firearm purchase due to PC 243. I own a limo company and have contractors. The state now requires me to have workers' compensation coverage for them based on 8-40-202. If I have to have that coverage, can I pass the cost on to my drivers since they are contractors?
