My lease has been terminated by the new landlord, and I live in Connecticut. I received a letter stating that I need to move with no reason given. I am elderly and partially disabled, and I have been a tenant for 9 years. Is this termination the same as eviction, and can I be forced to move out without a valid reason? Additionally, is there any form of elderly discrimination that I can fight against, and what are my rights as a Section 8 tenant?
