My Mazda 6 is 7 years old and for the past 6 months, the dealership has been unable to find the necessary electrical harness part. Mazda claims the vendor they used is no longer in business, rendering my car useless without this part. The wholesale value of the car is approximately $5500. The dealership has provided a loaner car due to my long-term patronage, but they keep delaying the resolution. Mazda Corporation in California has now refused to provide further assistance, suggesting I find the part myself from junk yards. However, the dealership refuses to install a part from a junkyard. Do I have any recourse with Mazda?

I had issues with a health exchange company and their brokers in 2016 and 2017. In 2016, they cancelled my policy without my permission with a retroactive effect, causing the insurance company to reclaim payments made to my health accounts. In 2017, the broker mistakenly put the insurance under my husband's name without my knowledge, leading to nonpayment and prolonged disputes. The issues remain unresolved, and we were unable to get health insurance due to closed enrollment. The insurance company is trying to help resolve the 2016 issues, but other companies are upset about revoked payments. Is there a case here, and who should I seek help from?

Is there any way a non-family member can get information about an inmate at the Tensas Detention Center in Louisiana? I am the former GED teacher for an inmate and one of the only people with whom he has contact. We correspond through letters, and I want to be helpful but not be a deterrent to what is being done by staff there. He was recently transferred to Tensas from Bossier City. The judge in New Orleans sentenced him to go to the Stephen Hoyle Program, but I think, due to his own behaviors, he failed to get into the program. I'm concerned about him, but don't know how to help. Can you advise me?

Can the 2 directors of a Florida Condo Association, who are being sued personally by a unit owner (also a Florida lawyer) for a meritless lawsuit, legally require separate counsel from the Insurance Company, represent themselves in a countersuit calling for damages, refuse to settle unless paid damages, and have the case go to trial with their counsel on hand at all legal activities? Additionally, can a settlement offered and accepted by the Association Board be refused by the 2 directors and have the case go to trial anyway? Could the Insurance company legally decide to offer the directors a 'settlement sum' if that additional sum added to the settlement extortion by the Plaintiffs would still be far less than a trial? Lastly, is the director being personally sued entitled to a jury trial?
