My mother-in-law had her car repossessed because the insurance company didn't respond fast enough to confirm her insurance and the lender claimed she was in default for non-payment, even though payments were in their mail unopened. Now she has to pay $2100 to the tow company to get her vehicle back. Would she have any claim for damages for them doing this to her?
