My next-door neighbor built a non-permitted Airbnb and advertises my property as a hiking trail, leading to thousands of trespassers, hostile exchanges, and even assaults. I've spoken to Airbnb legal and the sheriff's department, but no results. How can I proceed legally?

My mother received a paper saying I was supposed to show up for a disposition. A man came to her door and said I was being served, but he never served me directly. Since the man never served me, am I still obligated to show up for the disposition?

I had a short-term medical insurance, and now the insurance company is refusing to pay for my hospital visit, claiming it's a pre-existing condition. I don't believe it is. What can I do, and what steps should I take next?

If the defendant is allowed an expert but I am not, and if I objected and did not agree to the 26f, should I be able to open discovery? Additionally, how should I approach proving my Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress (NIED) when the judge misquoted the elements of IIED?

I got a ticket in New York for talking on my cell phone, which is not illegal in Massachusetts where I am from. The Trooper mentioned big signs, but I only saw one small sign. Should I plead guilty with an explanation and use the District Attorney's form, or plead not guilty? I am concerned about the travel time and potential insurance increase due to the 5 points in NY, though they may not apply in MA.

I gave my son, who was living with me for 20 years, a notarized letter stating he must leave by the 28th of April. He vacated the premises but later claimed the letter wasn't legitimate. I changed the locks after he left. Now, I received a handwritten letter with a judge's stamp stating I illegally locked him out and must let him back in. I was never served any documents to appear in court, and my son is 25 years old with no name on the lease. He never paid rent. What are my legal options in New York?
