My S-Corp is being sued for product liability. It was closed 2 and a half years ago and has no assets, money, or bank accounts. Should I defend the civil suit even though I really have nothing to defend?

I filed a small claims case and believe the judgment was wrong. The judge did not listen to my problem and I feel my character was judged rather than the issue at hand. Can I refile for the same claims and request another judge?

Hello, I have a concern about a pharmacist I met a couple of months ago. I decided not to move forward with her, and she got mad. Today, she sent me a text about my medical condition and the medications I was taking, which I never told her about. Isn't this illegal?

I own a townhouse in Lake Charles, LA. I have an alarm system, a deadbolt, and no trespassing signs. Despite these measures, someone continues to access my property, stealing from me. I have filed police reports, and they broke my deadbolt last Saturday. What else can I do to make the police arrest them?

I am being sued by my old landlord for rent payments on a property he no longer owns. The complaint indicates 6 months of rent are due, but I have a cancelled check for the first month in question, paid a month in advance and a month security for the next two months, and the property went to Deed in Lieu of foreclosure on 03/25/2015. I am now paying the new owner. Additionally, the original landlord did not fulfill his obligations under the lease, such as providing a bathroom and heat, and turned off our power twice. My questions are: 1. If the deed is signed and dated 03/25, could he still continue to collect rent after that? 2. Should I include the issues in my response to the complaint or should I file a counterclaim?
