My sister is in a nursing home in Florida, and my niece has Power of Attorney (POA). My sister doesn't trust my niece and wants me to find out about the status of her reverse mortgage. Additionally, my sister wants me to inspect her house, which my niece might be occupying. What do I need to do to legally obtain financial information and inspect the house without involving my niece?

Can I sue my children's daycare center for exposing my children to dangerous levels of lead? My one-year-old twins tested negative for lead poisoning but were exposed since they were eight weeks old. The daycare notified us of the lead on 4/25, minimized the issue, allowed us to pay for another month, and then got shut down by the state on 5/11. I have not received a refund for prepaid days and had to find alternate care with only 24 hours' notice. I am in California and have not taken any steps yet.

My apartment complex is taking me to court on June 7th to evict me because they believe I don't meet the requirements to have my emotional support animals, even though I have all the necessary paperwork for my dogs. I am in Pennsylvania and have contacted the HUD, filed a complaint with human relations, and called the attorney that backs emotional support dogs. What should I do?

My husband committed a crime in 1996 involving assault with a deadly weapon and intent to kill while on drugs. He is serving a 20 to life sentence under the DC code offense. He recently went up for his initial parole hearing and was denied despite having low enough points for mandatory parole, receiving a two-year set-off instead. Is this denial appropriate considering the guidelines he should fall under?
