My moving company, Colonial Van Lines, has not delivered our belongings since July 28th. They were supposed to bring them to Gastonia, North Carolina, but now claim they are in Florida. We have called and emailed multiple times, even reaching out to the company's president and vice president, but have received no resolution. They have brought someone else's items to our house and demanded payment for them. We have no refrigerator or household items, and have been paying for two rent bills. We are frustrated and don't know where to turn. What legal actions can we take to resolve this issue?

I was placed on PTI a year ago and completed all requirements, including paying fines. However, due to a misunderstanding with my PTI officer and missing an appointment due to a family emergency, I was reported as not completing my terms. I missed my court date and have been unable to get a response from the public defender's office. I cannot afford to hire an attorney and need to avoid jail as I have two children, one of whom requires round-the-clock care due to a serious medical condition. What can I do to resolve this situation?
