My son has been charged with reckless cause of death of another because he left the vehicle of the departed thinking that he would sleep it off, and was just passed out. He didn't know what he was taking or on, and didn't give him anything. Is this manslaughter? My son was clean, nothing in his vehicle, and nothing on himself. What state this is in? Have you talked to a lawyer yet? Anything else you think the lawyer should know?

I own a Cosmetology school in TN and I have two registered sex offenders wanting to enroll. There is a daycare center straight across the street. Does this prevent them from attending this school, and what rights do I have as a school owner to prevent felons from attending my school?

My lawyer missed a filing deadline that ruined my case, misled me about the case's strength and potential settlement amount, and then abruptly stopped representing me after I signed a document he insisted on. How can I hold him accountable for his actions, and what steps do I need to take to prove my case and obtain my file?

I was convicted of PC 243(B) battery on a peace officer/emergency personnel/etc. in 2008, which was later expunged. The DOJ sent me a letter denying my firearm purchase due to PC 243. Does my PC 243(B) fall under the California 10-year ban, and if so, is the attorney general's office wrong? What should be my next step?
