I had a car repossessed several years ago, and now I received a judgment in the mail. After the case was settled, I was changing jobs and supporting myself. I called the finance company and asked if they could rewrite my loan since my vehicle was half paid for. I was a little short that month, so I offered $160 instead of the full $250 payment, which they accepted. I told them I would pay the rest when my income tax check came in. However, a tow company took my car after the finance company accepted the partial payment. Did the creditor commit a breach of peace?

My nephew and his wife stored appliances and a china cabinet in my garage several months ago when they were being evicted, promising to move it within a month. I am a dual citizen (Nigeria and US) and an artist. My father's artwork, which was commissioned and owned by the state government in Nigeria, was vandalized by the governor of my birth state. I want to know if I can sue the governor in the US for my father's intellectual property and have him attend US court proceedings.
