I received an administrative citation from a code enforcement officer for not allowing him on my property without a search warrant. The citation is for $100 and was issued in California. I previously had a similar issue where I was denied a jury trial, and I'm concerned about my rights. What are my options for disputing this citation and understanding my rights regarding jury trials and property searches?

I am a dual citizen (Nigeria and US) and an artist. My father's artwork, which was commissioned and owned by the state government in Nigeria, was vandalized by the governor of my birth state. I want to know if I can sue the governor in the US for my father's intellectual property and have him attend US court proceedings. Additionally, I want to know how affordable this legal process would be.

I need to know the proper procedures to handle a tenant who wrongfully quits a fixed term lease in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a replacement tenant is located. Specifically, can I use the security deposit and prepaid rent to cover the difference between the rent due under the fixed term contract and the rent paid by the replacement tenant?

I co-signed on a car loan with my now ex-boyfriend. After we broke up, he defaulted on the payments and gave the car back to me with an expired registration and a loan that is underwater. I have never used the car and have my own vehicle. Do I have any legal grounds to sue him for the payments I made on the car loan?

I want my refund because I did not mean to sign up for GlobalTel. Globaltel will not answer my phone calls. 45.99 is pending in my bank account. I always spoke to my son through connectwork. He will be released next week. What should I do?

I have outstanding tax balances for 2015 and 2016 and have not made estimated payments for 2017. I understand I need to make these payments for an Offer in Compromise (OIC) to be accepted. If I mail in the application with these outstanding balances, will the IRS definitely impose a lien on my house for the duration of the application process?
