I co-signed on a car loan with my now ex-boyfriend. After we broke up, he defaulted on the payments and gave the car back to me with an expired registration and a loan that is underwater. I have never used the car and have my own vehicle. Do I have any legal grounds to sue him for the payments I made on the car loan?
