Should I have taken a protective order on her? What are my financial obligations, as I cannot afford to pay for both my mortgage and an apartment in the DC metropolitan area? I was represented by a public defender in a criminal case. During the trial, the judge allowed the public defender to testify about information she had given to the prosecution. This information was incomplete and damaging to my case. My attorney implied to the jury that I had not been completely forthcoming. I requested a mistrial, but the judge denied my request, and the jury was hung. This situation was life-changing. Can I file a complaint against a public defender with the state bar or some other agency besides the local court? The actions of this attorney were unethical in other ways as well. I did request a Marsden motion, and the judge granted it, appointing another attorney to represent me. Nevertheless, this attorney should be held accountable for her actions. Please provide information on filing a complaint against a public defender at a state, not county, level.

I received a Charging Order from a small claims suit in Nevada, where I am the sole proprietor of an LLC that appears as a partnership on the judgment. The judgment is against me personally, not the LLC, but it states that my LLC is 'unconditionally precluded from distributing funds to judgment debtor Robert Gerstein, in any amount for any reason whatsoever unless and until the instant judgment is satisfied.' I have been using my company debit card for personal expenses and paying independent subcontractors. How does this affect me, and what should I do to comply with the judgment while continuing my business operations?
