My wife died about 12 years ago. We thought she had no assets, and finances were in joint with right of survivorship. However, we found out the house was held in joint, with no right of survivorship. No paperwork has been filed, and due to a recent move, existing paperwork has been lost. The house is in Lilburn, Gwinnett County, and I have a sales contract on the house scheduled to close in about a month. How can I clean this up simply and quickly?
