I filed a complaint against Hunters Ridge child care on May 7th, 2018, and subsequently faced issues with payment due dates and was ultimately told to find another daycare for my children. I believe this is retaliation for my complaint. What can I do about this situation, and what legal actions are available to me in South Carolina?

My sister is in a nursing home in Florida, and my niece has Power of Attorney (POA). My sister doesn't trust my niece and wants me to find out about the status of her reverse mortgage. Additionally, my sister wants me to inspect her house, which my niece might be occupying. What do I need to do to legally obtain financial information and inspect the house without involving my niece?

Can I sue my children's daycare center for exposing my children to dangerous levels of lead? My one-year-old twins tested negative for lead poisoning but were exposed since they were eight weeks old. The daycare notified us of the lead on 4/25, minimized the issue, allowed us to pay for another month, and then got shut down by the state on 5/11. I have not received a refund for prepaid days and had to find alternate care with only 24 hours' notice. I am in California and have not taken any steps yet.
