My wife received a demand letter and draft complaint alleging trademark and copyright infringement. The letter requests that she hire counsel and respond by Dec. 17th. What type of attorney should I look for to assist her with this response?

I want to move my driveway from the highway side of my lot to a smaller side street where there was an existing curb cut. The previous homeowner moved the driveway without permits, and my neighbors are complaining about losing a parking spot. I believe no one should park there due to the driveway cut and the new driveway is not up to code. Can I hold the town responsible if anyone gets hurt pulling out of my sub-code driveway, and would they be responsible if I go before the board and tell them my driveway is unsafe, and they deny my request to revert to the old spot?

My son was murdered in Virginia Beach in 2006, and the person who killed him claimed self-defense. The court acquitted him of murder charges, and I feel like he should have been punished. Is there anything that can be done for closure?

Is it legal for the seller of a mobile home to impose conditions such as requiring us to purchase new carpet and specifying when it has to be purchased, or prohibiting the use of one of the bedrooms as storage?

I am in foreclosure and had a sheriff's sale date of 8/30. I tried to work out a plan with my lender but was unsuccessful. I filed a Chapter 13 Pro Se to stop the sale, then retained an attorney to amend my petition and file the plan. At my 341 meeting on 10/23, I learned my case was dismissed for not filing a plan, and I now have a Sheriff's Sale scheduled for 10/25 at 11:00 a.m. I never received notice of the dismissal. Can I refile to stop the sale and work out a plan?

I received a 1099-C from my former lender about my foreclosed property, but then they sent a 1099-A in error. In Box 2, it says $93,868.50, and in Box 4, it says $96,000. Does this mean I owe taxes on the difference, or what does it mean?
