On a California medical battery civil malpractice case, I had omissions and errors in my Opening Brief to the California Appellate Court. I sent it as a Notice, but they would not accept it. I had old and new issues that were and were not designated in the lower court, respectively, with new arguments and authorities that were not in the Opening Brief. I sent it as a Notice, but they would not accept it. I followed the California Appellate Court Self-Help guidelines, but they would not explain why. Any ideas?
