One Board member is causing significant issues in our HOA, including releasing executive Board minutes to a local newspaper, defaming my character on social media, and making false accusations of theft without proof. He has also attempted to access community bank accounts and is creating chaos at meetings. Our HOA attorney is reluctant to send him a letter. Can we remove him from the board, and what steps can we take to address his behavior?

A letter from you or a local lawyer can be an effective way to address the problematic Board member'...

I was involved in a car crash caused by a reckless driver in Tennessee. The driver was cited for reckless driving, unregistered vehicle, and no insurance, but I don't know if a court date was set. Can the driver just pay fines and avoid court, and if not, how can I ensure he faces court and potentially jail time for his actions?

I am trying to get my case dismissed from court. I filed a motion to voluntarily dismiss, and the respondent offered me $150. I agreed to the offer, and the respondent sent me a Stipulation of Dismissal with Prejudice and on the Merits document. However, now they are asking me to sign a settlement agreement before sending the check. Is it necessary for me to sign the settlement agreement, or can I request the original plan of giving written permission to e-sign the Stipulation of Dismissal once I receive my check?

I was involved in a car accident and am being sued. My insurance covers 100k/300k bodily injury. There were three people in the car, all of whom want to sue. I'm worried it might exceed the insurance limit. My father, who is the insurance policy holder, is also being sued. I want to know if they can touch his annuity investment or if he cashes it out and puts it in a bank safety box, can they go through that? Also, if my grandparents' house is under my name and something happens to them, can they go after that?

I was told by my HR department that one of my staff filed a complaint against me for being gender bias, leading to an investigation and a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). During the PIP, I was given an exit interview from a former staff member with timeliness complaints, and I was coerced into signing the PIP. Two weeks ago, I was notified that the current staff member filing the complaint is leaving, and there is a consideration to fire me based on the fear of potential litigation. I've been employed for 18 years without any previous complaints. Is there anything legally I can do in this situation?

I need advice on how to remove restrictions on Regulation S Shares I purchased a long time ago, especially since the company is no longer trading. I live in Malta and am not a US citizen. I have already been scammed once and am concerned about being scammed again by a company called McKenzie & Sons, which has appointed someone from the Board of Financial Affairs to help. What should I do?
