Seven or eight years ago, my daughter's older half-brother was sexually inappropriate (nothing physical) with her. This was reported to CPS several times, but was not prosecuted until now. He was 14 or 15 at the time and she was 5 or 6. Over the past 7 plus years, there have been no issues with his conduct or any other issues. My daughter and I have been subpoenaed to appear in court on September 27. What steps can we take to have the charges dropped, especially since the trial is next week?
