Should I ignore a civil demand letter? I was in Florida at the time of the incident, but I live in Arkansas now. No police were involved, and I was required to sign a paper, but that was it.

I filed my taxes on my own for the first time and claimed my children who do not live with me. I believe I was not given money back for them because the refund was less than before I claimed them. Now, my relative is threatening to turn me in because she wants to claim them and the IRS won't let her. Could I get in trouble if she turns me in?

I was misdiagnosed and mistreated in the ER, accused of being a meth user and denied proper treatment. I was treated as a drug addict despite my denial and evidence of a staph infection and Shingles. I was traumatized and experienced severe anxiety and other issues as a result. My doctor confirmed my innocence through a drug test and suggested pursuing this with an attorney and the AZ Medical Board. I was a victim of a violent crime and have PTSD, Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, and Arthritis. I was going to apply for disability but with meth usage on my record, I won't get it. I deserve justice for what I went through and how I was treated. Can you help me?

I need assistance with a legal matter in the state of Virginia. I’ve filed a wrongful termination claim with the EEOC and have retained my employer's equipment (laptop and cell phone) for potential use as evidence if I receive the right to sue. My employer will report the equipment stolen after March 21st. Should I retain an attorney before returning the equipment and while the claim is still under investigation?
